Two animated series are back after a long hiatus, this time on Hulu: Mike Judge's Texas-set "King of the Hill" and "The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball" from creator Ben Bocquelet.

Hank and Peggy are retired, and Bobby is a chef in an aged-up series revival, a return made bittersweet by the deaths of several former cast members.

The showrunner behind the King of the Hill revival recalls the conversation he had with the series' creators about why now was the time to return.
