As its prequel is set to leave Netflix, concerns are growing about whether Happy Gilmore 2 will remain on the streaming platform. Directed by Kyle Newacheck, the new movie sees Gilmore coming out of retirement and returning to the golf course.

The biggest original film to arrive on Netflix in July was undoubtedly Happy Gilmore 2. The Adam Sandler sequel was 30 years in the making and marks the return of one of his most iconic characters, Happy Gilmore, a Boston Bruins-obsessed hockey fan who turns his mean slapshot into a professional golf career.

Lift Off, its newest offering, can be seen in the newly released "Happy Gilmore 2" film on Netflix. The Thai-inspired sauce makes an appearance at roughly the 27:20 minute mark, when villain Frank Manatee is interviewed by "Hot Ones" host Sean Evans (who plays himself). The appearance came as a surprise to the company, it said in a press release.
