Meta tags are hidden on the page, but they, as well as all the HTML code on a page, can be viewed by selecting View/Source or View/Page Source from the browser menu.

Meta tags, found in an HTML document's source code, do everything from describing a site's contents to defining the type of content that the page displays.

You add keywords to HTML pages by including the Meta Keywords tag inside the Head section of the code. You then insert a list of keywords relevant to your business in the Meta tag.
