The ability to add home-screen shortcuts isn't a new feature by any means -- smartphones have had this capability for quite some time -- but it's still good to see it present in BlackBerry 10.

To save some time, you can add a shortcut to Yahoo to your desktop so you can navigate to the online email client with a simple double-click.

The second method of creating a shortcut requires you to RIGHT click on the desktop then select New. From there you will select shortcut and the create shortcut wizard will pop up.

Simply download the Zip file, then extract it to the Windows desktop. Alternately, you can extract it elsewhere and create a shortcut that sits on the desktop. Or even in the taskbar if you prefer.
