Azure’s new fully managed, in-memory database service based on Redis Enterprise brings capabilities and performance beyond its Azure Cache for Redis offering.

Because of that, Azure Redis Cache will not automatically failover to a geo-replicated cache in another Region. Failover is managed by unlinking the secondary cache from the primary cache.
