Biometrics company Valencell has invented new tech that lets users measure their blood pressure level simply by touching their phone.

Novosund has created an ultrasound sensor that allows real-time blood pressure sensing without any cuff hassles. It is ready for smartwatches, and even rings.

Patients will use a handheld device to take blood pressure readings from the sensor, in addition to other physiological data, to provide physicians with a more comprehensive view of the patient.
