Egypt is busy building a new – as yet unnamed – capital, designed to be the country's new administrative hub and home to more than 6.5 million residents.

Thus, transforming Egypt from an authoritarian state will require a solid foundation based on comprehensive new visions towards an Egyptian model for a welfare state and social democracy.
