Luckily, Mojang has made installing a resource pack incredibly easy. The following tutorials are only for the Java and Windows 10 editions of Minecraft.

Now, launch the game and go to options. In the options menu, select Resource Packs. Hover over the Bare Bones resource pack option on the left and click the right arrow once it appears.

Just note that mods and resource packs only work with the "Java Edition" of "Minecraft," available for Mac, Windows, and Linux computers.
