The F3 screen is accessible in single player and multiplayer, so you can load into a regular survival world, preexisting or new, or any of Minecraft's best multiplayer servers to test it out.

The Java demo mode lasts just five in-game days, which translates to about 100 minutes in real time. For about an hour and a half, you can try out the Minecraft demo, but then it will be out.
