Microsoft Word can accommodate a surprising number of file formats, and even take in Excel and PowerPoint data, though it might look funny. Here's how.
From within an open Word document (for versions of Word from 2013 or more recent), click the File command to open the drop-down menu; select Open, just as you would to open a regular Word file.
Navigate to the location of your PDF file, select it, and click ‘Open’. A dialog box will appear notifying you that Word will convert the PDF into an editable Word document.
