Facebook has unveiled two changes for developers, giving them the ability to receive Realtime Updates for Pages and also offering Search insights.

Google's Realtime Search combs Twitter and Facebook for public status updates and allows you to hunt down the freshest closest tweets and posts available.

Searching for status updates is not Twitter's forte, so leave it to Google to make its own Realtime Search engine more powerful instead.

The Google Realtime help information is still live. I also find it unlikely that this was intentional, as searching Twitter and other real-time updates has become so integral to news results.
