Google has finally fixed the Pixel's highly reported unresponsive button issue with the latest August 2025 security patch.

Google is rolling a fix for a bug that made some Pixel users' three-button navigation unresponsive with its monthly software update this August.

A new tool called “StartIsGone” will allow users to make the Windows 8 Start button go away again. Seriously.
