On deadline day, the Tigers added starting pitcher Charlie Morton from the Baltimore Orioles, and relievers Paul Seawald of the Cleveland Guardians, Rafael Montero of the Atlanta Braves, Kyle Finnegan of the Washington Nationals, and Codi Heuer of the Texas Rangers.

The Tigers added a flurry of new arms to their organization. It could make for another creative approach to pitching down the stretch.

"First off, across the game, that was crazy," Detroit Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said. "Every minute, it felt like another trade was happening."
